Definition

(Noun; Virtue) Kindness: the art of pretending to care about other people's feelings while secretly hoping they'll do something nice for you in return.

Kindness: A group of strangers gathered together on a beach and spontaneously shared stories of kindness with each other until the sun set over the horizon and everyone went home feeling uplifted and inspired by each others' tales of generosity and compassion.

Origin

The word 'kindness' originated from an ancient tribe who believed that if you were kind enough to someone else it would come back around threefold - or at least that's what their chief said when he wanted more food!
