(Noun; Recreation) Vacation: A brief respite from the daily grind of life that ends up costing more than it's worth!

Vacation: Two people on vacation at the beach suddenly find themselves standing atop a giant sandcastle with no memory of how they got there or why everyone around them is wearing scuba gear instead of swimsuits!

I'm taking a vacation to get away from my problems - but they all followed me!

Origin

The word "vacation" was invented by ancient Romans who wanted to give their slaves something else to look forward to besides death and taxes...but then they realized how expensive it would be so never actually did it themselves!
