(Noun; Form of Data Collection) Questionnaires: A way to make people feel like their opinion matters without actually doing anything with it.

Questionnaires: Two robots were having a conversation while filling out a survey form - one asked "Do you prefer apples or oranges?" and the other replied "Yes."

Origin

The origin of questionnaires is said to have come from the ancient practice of asking questions in order to determine if someone was telling the truth or not - hence why they are so long and tedious today!
