(Noun; Governmental Policy) A way for governments to take money from citizens without asking nicely.

Taxation: An auditor and a taxpayer stand on opposite sides of a river filled with coins while arguing about how much should be paid in taxes - neither willing to cross over until they reach an agreement!

I'm so taxed out that I can't even afford a tax break!

Origin

The word 'taxation' was invented by an ancient king who wanted more gold but didn't want to sound greedy in front of his subjects - so he called it taxation instead!
